Expand, Grow, Build in Union County

Union County, Georgia’s labor force is experienced, capable and 100% non-union, with strong and loyal work
ethics. In addition to those workers who reside in Union County, the Blairsville area is fortunate to have access
to an expanded labor pool from the surrounding Georgia counties of Fannin, Lumpkin, Towns and White, as well
as the North Carolina counties of Cherokee and Clay that collectively form our labor-shed area. It is common for
workers to commute 35 miles or more to jobs in Union County.

Georgia is an “employment at will” state, so as a general rule, an employee may not sue the employer for “wrongful discharge.” An employee may sue an employer for breach of contract or “quantum merit.”

Georgia is a “right-to-work” state.
